Why OATMEAL?

I am a high school senior at Waynflete School in Portland, Maine. After a year of social isolation and monotony, I wanted to dedicate my final project to bringing people together in COVID-safe ways. Additionally, as I prepare to head off to college in the fall, I wanted to find a way to spend as much time as possible exploring my home state. Here's the catch: it's all under $100 a week budget. 

Hello again! My name is Semma and I'm from Brunswick, Maine. I've lived here for nearly 13 years, and much of what I love to do is very Maine-centric. I grew up dancing, however, when the pandemic hit, I turned to running, and this year I joined cross-country and track! Some hobbies: skiing, hiking, scrapbooking, and of course cooking & baking. As you may have guessed from the name of this website, I love oatmeal—stovetop, microwave, overnight, or (best of all) baked. When it's not oatmeal, it's something spicy. There is so much more I could ramble on about, but here's the gist. These activities are anything and everything. Please reach out if you try any or have suggestions!!
